• 万里の長城の山並みを眺めながら眠りにつく――この山頂ホテルの滞在体験は、心から癒やされるものでした。今回、古北水鎮での休暇にあたり、迷わず選んだのがこの山頂にあるホテルです{酒店名称}。水鎮内で最も標高の高い場所に位置するこのホテルで2日間過ごし、その細部にまで行き届いた快適さにすっかり魅了されました。麓にあるホテルでの滞在とは、まさに次元の違う体験でした

  私が予約したのは「長城ビュー」の客室です。チェックイン時には専用の送迎車が入り口で待機しており、凸凹した石畳の道をスーツケースを引きずって歩く必要はありませんでした。山道をスムーズに移動してホテルの入り口まで送ってもらえたので、とても楽でした。ドアを開けた瞬間、旅の疲れが半分以上吹き飛ぶような心地よさがありました。遮るもののない大きな窓からは司馬台長城が一望でき、温かみのある木目調のインテリアは余計な装飾がなくシンプル。35平米の空間は開放感があり、リラックスできる雰囲気です。窓辺にはくつろげるティーコーナーが設けられており、温かいお茶を淹れて座れば、稜線に沿って光と影が織りなす長城の表情の変化を静かに眺めることができます。寝具の質も期待以上でした。ふんわりとした羽毛の枕と適度な硬さのマットレスのおかげで、観光地のホテルにありがちな「寝心地が悪い」といった問題は皆無。夜には窓辺を山風が優しく吹き抜け、都会の車の騒音も一切なく、2晩ともぐっすりと安眠できました。
